Six gates, honestly kept

The lip lift rewards the right anatomy and punishes the wrong one — permanently. These are the gates every candidate passes through here, including the two that turn people away.

1

A genuinely long philtrum

Pushing past ~16–18 mm (youthful range: 11–15). Measure yours — if you're at 13 mm and want fuller lips, this is the wrong operation and you'll be told so.

2

Lost or fading tooth show

Youthful lips reveal 2–4 mm of upper incisor at rest. If yours already show well, lifting risks a toothy, over-done look — a real disqualifier, checked on your relaxed photos.

3

The gummy-smile gate

A lift raises the lip — and can turn mild gum show into pronounced gum show. Smile photos are mandatory; beyond ~4 mm of gum display, this operation is usually wrong for you and better tools exist.

4

Filler dissolved and settled

Millimetre planning needs your real lip — existing filler is dissolved first, then 4–6 weeks of settling before measurement. Non-negotiable, for your result's sake.

5

Healthy healing basics

Non-smoking (or genuinely paused — nicotine strangles exactly the blood supply this scar depends on), no uncontrolled healing disorders, realistic sun-protection commitment for year one.

6

Wanting it for you

Not for a partner, a platform or a trend cycle. A permanent change deserves a self-owned reason — and the assessment conversation checks this gate as honestly as the anatomical ones. "Decide from steady, not from pressured" is house policy.

Run the gates on your own face

Photos, smile photo, millimetres — the six-gate verdict comes back free, including when it's 'not this operation.'
